Meet Scout, also known as "Scoutie Pie"! He's a 45 lb., approximately 4-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix with the most adorable floppy ears. Scout can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, his love is absolutely unconditional. He’s a playful pup who enjoys running and roughhousing with his foster siblings, both human and canine. When it's time to relax, he's a champion cuddler on the couch. Scout was rescued from a city shelter where he was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being a happy and healthy puppy. Now, he's ready to find his forever family and share his boundless love.
Ideal Home
Scout is looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow and play. He enjoys the company of both children and other dogs, so a home with a welcoming family and perhaps a canine friend would be wonderful.
Ongoing Health
Scout is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, is microchipped, and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Scout is already kennel and potty trained, which is a great start! He's eager to please and will thrive with continued guidance and positive reinforcement.

Transportation
Scout is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transportation is included in the adoption fee and is available to various locations, including nearby towns, states, and even further distances. We coordinate with transport services that operate regularly to Eastern states and on a less frequent basis to Western states. Adopters will have the ability to track their dog's transport via the Life360 app and will receive updates along the way. Facebook chats are also available for transport tracking.
