Callie is a 6-year-old, approximately 50 lb Lab/Husky mix with the kindest soul. Her world was turned upside down through no fault of her own. After being moved to a new place, what was meant to be temporary became permanent. Months passed without her family returning, and eventually, she was no longer wanted. Despite this heartbreak, Callie is incredibly loving, gentle when taking treats, adores belly rubs, and is a wonderful alert dog. She finds comfort in the companionship and routine of being with other dogs. Callie waits with hope and a heart full of love, longing to be chosen, cherished, and loved forever.
