Misty is a radiant 9-year-old spayed female who truly shines with patience, positive reinforcement, and—most of all—treats. She loves training and responds beautifully when guided with kindness. In foster care, she thrives alongside her beloved sister Jean, and their bond continues to grow stronger each day. Misty finds comfort and security in her crate, which serves as her safe and calming retreat.

Ideal Home

Misty and her sister Jean would do best in a quiet, low-traffic home without other dogs or cats, and with minimal visitors or young children. They are happiest living a simple, peaceful lifestyle with a securely fenced yard where they can relax and enjoy their golden years.

Ongoing Health

Misty and Jean are aging and are less comfortable around unfamiliar dogs during walks or through fencing. Their fosters carefully manage outings and keep distance to help them feel safe and confident.

Training & Support

Misty responds beautifully to training when guided with kindness and positive reinforcement. She finds comfort and security in her crate.

Transportation

This fabulous foster is a Doberman Rescue Minnesota foster dog. Adopters will be requested to visit this foster dog at the foster family home. Our foster families are generally located within a 250-mile radius of Minneapolis, MN. All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
