Holt is a charming 5-month-old Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix with a sweet face and a brilliant mind. He embodies the perfect puppy temperament, ready to become your most loyal companion. Holt is friendly, social, intelligent, and an all-around fantastic young dog. He enjoys the company of people, gets along well with other dogs, and is even fine with cats. He's mastering the puppy life and is a true delight. As he's still a baby, Holt will thrive with structure, training, patience, and supervision. His future family should be excited to help him blossom into the wonderful adult dog he's destined to be.

Ideal Home

Holt needs a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, explore, and expend his puppy energy. He'll do best with a family that appreciates an engaged and bright dog and understands that smart puppies are always learning, sometimes things we don't even intend to teach them!

Training & Support

Holt is a puppy and will require the usual puppy basics, including continued socialization and positive reinforcement training. He will need a flexible schedule for potty training, crate training until he is at least one year old, and plenty of patience. Adopters should be prepared for the time, effort, and potential expense involved in training and socialization.
