Hercules is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy who loves being close to his people. At approximately 5–7 years old, he still has plenty of young-dog energy and enjoys nature hikes, snacks, and showing off his adorable belly.

Ideal Home

Hercules has lived with children and has done well with the dogs in his foster mom’s building. He would love a canine companion because he does not enjoy being left home alone. He has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Hercules is a slim 50-pound, very low-shed dog. He was surrendered because his owner experienced medical issues.

Training & Support

Hercules is house trained and knows “paw,” “leave it,” and “off.” He is making progress with leash skills and acclimating to alone time. He is also learning to wait before entering and exiting thresholds.
