Senator ("Torrey")

Senator, affectionately known as "Torrey," is a handsome young German Shepherd mix who found himself in our care as a stray. He's a big boy who enjoys a good game of fetch with a frisbee or ball and has a particular fondness for treats, which he accepts with gentle precision. While Torrey can be a little reserved around new people, his affection is quickly won over with the promise of toys and tasty snacks. He does tend to guard his treasures, so introductions to new friends should be done with care. He also needs a little time to warm up before he's comfortable with being touched. Torrey would truly blossom with a patient adopter who understands the unique charm and needs of the German Shepherd breed.

Ideal Home

Torrey needs a home with a securely fenced yard to explore and play. Due to his need for a patient and understanding environment, homes with children, cats, or small dogs are not a good fit for him. A veterinary reference will also be required to ensure he's going to a home that can provide excellent care.
