Izzy is currently living the good life in a foster home and proving she's a total family girl! She is kid-friendly and loves the energy of a bustling household. If the neighborhood kids are outside playing, Izzy is right there in the middle of the huddle. She's basically the neighborhood's honorary dog! She is remarkably cat and kitten-friendly and understands the art of peaceful coexistence. Izzy's got a big heart for tiny paws and a specialized talent for synchronized snoring with her kitty coworkers. Ongoing Health

Izzy has received all standard vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Izzy is crate trained and house-trained. She is also generally good in the car and enjoys being included in daily routines. While she is playful and social with other dogs, she can be a bit overexcited with cats, so a dog-savvy cat would be best.

Izzy is currently in Texas and can be transported to select states nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pickup is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. An $87 surcharge applies for transportation due to rising costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
