This sweetheart is built like a little land seal, complete with soulful brown eyes that could melt your heart. She's not looking for a marathon partner; she's here for cozy companionship, forehead kisses, and to remind you to slow down and enjoy life. She's approximately 5 years old, weighs around 63 lbs, and is likely a Pittie mix. While her exact breed and age are a mystery, her short, stocky, and incredibly huggable physique is a known fact. If she needs help getting onto furniture, she's happy to let you assist, accepting the lift as if it's completely normal.
Ideal Home
Aza Lou is dog-friendly and would do well with another calm and collected canine companion. She is also respectful of cats and could potentially live with one, with a trial sleepover arranged upon request. She would be equally happy as the sole recipient of your affection. She would thrive in an apartment, condo, or home with a backyard.
Ongoing Health
Aza Lou is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also been heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Aza Lou is crate trained and potty trained. She has wonderful house manners and is respectful in the home. She is a gentle treat taker and already knows how to sit and shake, often offering her paw repeatedly as if waving hello. She walks nicely on a leash, enjoying leisurely strolls and stopping to smell the roses.

Aza Lou is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
