About Frijol

Frijol is a resilient 7-year-old boy with a heart full of love to give. Despite a difficult past that included being hit by a car and suffering broken back legs that healed improperly, Frijol learned to walk again, showing incredible determination and a spirit that won't be broken. He was abandoned by his previous family, but a kind foster mom gave him the care he deserved. Now, he's looking for his forever home where he can finally experience true love and happiness. Frijol still loves people deeply and, despite his past, has a playful, smart, loyal, and funny personality.

Frijol would do best as the only dog in a home.

Ongoing Health

Frijol has permanently altered back legs due to improper healing after a past injury. While he has learned to walk with them, it may be uncomfortable for him.
