Candy

Candy is an almost two-year-old, petite (32lbs) terrier mix from South Carolina who is ready to trade kennel life for a cozy home! She's an active and outgoing girl with a brain that's always GO GO GO, so she's looking for an experienced and patient owner who can help her slow life down a bit. Candy has been responding wonderfully to training with an e-collar, but she really needs the consistency and structure of a home environment. She loves to run and play with dog friends once properly introduced and given time to settle. When she's not playing fetch with her favorite ball, she's ready to snuggle up with her new family on these cold Massachusetts days! She loves all humans and is best with adults only.

Ideal Home

Candy would thrive in a home with experienced and patient adult owners. She needs a family that can provide consistent training and structure. Unfortunately, she is not a good fit for homes with feline friends.

Candy is in good health.

Training & Support

Candy is crate and house-trained and loves to play fetch. She is still learning to slow down and needs guidance to achieve this. She has responded well to e-collar training.
