Rusty

Rusty is a 2-year-old, 57-pound mixed breed, possibly with Vizsla in his lineage, who is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and resilient. He is a true survivor, having been rescued from a shelter's kill list due to a growth in his eye that was surgically removed and thankfully, was not cancerous! Rusty loves water and is a great car rider. He's a higher-energy boy who would thrive with an active family. He is leash trained and already knows basic commands like "sit" and "no." Rusty is more than ready to find his forever home and embark on a new chapter filled with love and happiness!

Ideal Home

Rusty would do best as the only dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Rusty has had a growth removed from his eye, which was confirmed not to be cancerous. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Rusty is leash trained and knows basic commands such as "sit" and "no." He is described as being a higher-energy dog and would benefit from an active family.
