At 4 ½ years old, this gentle boy is a true cuddle bug, happiest when snuggled up next to his favorite people. Daquiri used to be the life of the party, a social butterfly who loved making friends. But after a tough experience with a larger dog, his confidence was shaken, and he’s been feeling shy and unsure around other pups ever since. Now, he’s searching for a patient and loving family—or a dedicated person—who will help him rediscover his courage and remind him what it feels like to be safe and confident again. Daquiri would do best in a patient and loving home, either with a dedicated person or a family. Due to a past negative experience, he is currently shy and unsure around other dogs.

Transporation
Daquiri is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our dogs are transported in comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated staff. You can follow your dog's journey on a private Facebook Event page, with opportunities to connect with other adopters and receive ongoing updates. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pickup location. For those picked up at our Angleton, TX location, the adoption fee is $75.
