Meet Idgie, a stunning 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who weighs around 62 pounds. She's already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and all her medical needs are up to date, making her ready to step right into her forever home! Idgie has a quiet charm and those soulful eyes that just capture your heart. She's a well-mannered girl who enjoys a good routine and is happiest when she's close to her people.

Ideal Home

Idgie would love a home with a securely fenced yard, at least 6 feet tall, as she can be an escape artist! She thrives in a family environment and gets along wonderfully with other dogs her size. While she's a fan of canine companions, people are truly her favorite! She's also friendly with cats and has a history of being calm and gentle around children of all ages.

Training & Support

Idgie is a smart cookie and is fully housebroken and crate trained. She's comfortable sleeping in her crate for up to nine hours and even sleeps soundly by her foster's bed at night. She does show some resource guarding specifically around her food bowl, so she's fed separately from other pets. This is easily managed and doesn't affect her interactions with treats, toys, or bones. She can have occasional bursts of zoomies but is otherwise not a high-energy dog and enjoys plenty of naps and cuddles.
