Ginger

Ginger is a loving and captivating Catahoula Leopard Dog and Australian Cattle Dog mix who found herself in a tough spot before landing with us. She lived in a drainage ditch for about a month before someone spotted her and posted about her online. We were able to locate her and, with the help of animal control, safely brought her to our rescue. After two weeks in the shelter, with no owner coming forward, we welcomed her into our care. She has since been crate trained and is settling in beautifully. Ginger is a delightful companion who enjoys keeping her humans entertained. She walks nicely on a leash and loves to play with other dogs. She's a smart cookie who knows her commands and is happy to perform them for a tasty treat. Ginger absolutely adores food and acts as if she's never had a meal before, likely due to her fast metabolism. She needs at least 3 cups of food per day to keep her energy levels up!

Ideal Home

Ginger would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of love and attention. She is good with other dogs and children of all ages, and also appears to be good with cats.

Ginger has been spayed and vaccinated. She has a fast metabolism and requires at least 3 cups of food per day.

Ginger is crate-trained and walks well on a leash. She knows basic commands and responds well to treats.
