Bella

Bella is a sweet and affectionate Staffordshire Terrier who just wants to be close to her person. She's incredibly people-oriented and thrives on companionship. Bella was surrendered when her family moved and has since had a tough time, including an attack by another dog. Because of this, she's understandably a little nervous around other dogs and would do best as the only pet in a home where she can feel completely safe and relaxed. She loves her walks, enjoys a trip to the bakery, and greets each morning with a joyful wiggle. Bella is a fantastic travel companion, loves car rides, and is looking for a safe place and a person to love. She does have a mild fear of fireworks and will need extra comfort during loud celebrations. Bella is doggy-door trained, has excellent potty habits, and is respectful in the home, but she cannot be crated.

Ideal Home

A home where Bella can be the only pet, offering her a safe and calm environment to feel relaxed and secure. She needs a loving person who can provide her with affection and companionship.

Ongoing Health

Bella is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

Bella has wonderful manners and walks well on leash. She is doggy-door trained and house-trained. She may need continued gentle guidance and reassurance around fireworks.

• The adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $350 plus transport, which includes vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and a health exam.

Transportation

Bella is currently being fostered in Texas but is available for transport to an approved adopter.
