Tom Nook

Tom Nook is a sweet and gentle 7-year-old Shiba Inu with a quiet demeanor. He once struggled with a chronic skin infection and allergies, but thanks to the care of our Community Vet Clinic, his skin has greatly improved and is now well-managed. His coat is beautiful, and he's much happier! You'll often find him lounging upside down in a comfy bed, enjoying his walks, and resting at his person's feet while they work.

Ideal Home

Tom Nook needs a home where his adopter can read his body language and respect his need for space, especially given his history of skin discomfort. He thrives in a quiet environment and should be the only pet in a home without children.

Ongoing Health

Tom Nook's skin and allergies are well-managed through the Community Vet Clinic. His adopter is welcome to continue his care with them.

Training & Support

While Tom Nook is generally gentle, he has specific preferences for how and when he is touched. He will nuzzle a hand when he is comfortable and ready for pets. It's important for his adopter to be attuned to his cues and provide him with the space he needs.
