Mona

Mona is a gorgeous 2-year-old Mountain Cur mix who came to us through no fault of her own. Her previous owner fell on hard times and knew Mona deserved a loving, forever home. Now, Mona is learning to be a dog and is a sweet, smart, and active girl who gets along with other dogs. She's an energetic goofball who is obsessed with stuffed toys! Volunteers have described her as wonderful, independent in a good way – she enjoys affection but also likes to do her own thing. She's a good leash walker, eager to sniff everything, and did well at a restaurant, even when tempted to greet others. Mona is a great listener and an absolute joy to be around! We promised Mona that the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?

Mona is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mona is still learning how to be a dog and has moments where she wants to greet people and other dogs, but she is a good listener and comes when called.

Transportation

Mona is located in South Carolina and we transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
