Meet Barkley!

Barkley is a 47-pound male Lab/Hound mix with an abundance of zest for life and an endless supply of affection for everyone he meets. He's a true social butterfly who loves people of all ages and makes friends wherever he goes. Barkley has zoomies that are truly champion-level and loves to get his energy out, but he's also a pro at switching gears. After some playtime, he's more than ready to settle in for plenty of pets and enthusiastic noggin rubs. He has a wonderful balance of playful energy and affectionate calm, making him a joy to be around.

Ideal Home

Barkley would make an excellent family dog for an active, loving household. He does need a home without cats, as he is not compatible with feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Barkley is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and current on monthly prevention. He is also microchipped with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Transporation

Barkley is located at Haven Animal Rescue of Texas in Caldwell, TX. If you are local, the adoption fee is waived for adopters picking him up directly from the rescue.
