This handsome Pit Bull/Lab mix has a heart full of love, a face made for kisses, and a personality that will bring endless smiles. Barry's puppy-dog eyes, adorable smile, and floppy ears are guaranteed to melt your heart. He absolutely adores people, enjoying leaning on them, sitting in laps, and showering them with kisses. Barry is the master of the gentle lean, content to soak up all the attention.
But don't let his cuddle bug nature fool you – Barry is still a playful puppy! He loves to grab a toy, bounce around the yard, wrestle with doggy friends, or go on joyful zoomie adventures. His silly antics are sure to make you laugh, and he's the perfect mix of active and relaxed, ready for adventures or a cozy evening on the couch.
Barry is a "slow-burn friendship" kind of guy with other dogs, preferring to take a little time to get comfortable before diving into play. Once he's settled, he enjoys canine companionship and could thrive in a home with another friendly dog or as the sole furry ruler. He also had a wonderful introduction to a cat, showing sweet and respectful behavior with his signature kisses. Barry has spent time with teenagers and has been incredibly loving, gentle, and respectful. He greets everyone with tail wags, puppy eyes, and unlimited kisses.
Ideal Home
Barry would do well in a home with or without another friendly dog. He has shown potential for living with cats, with proper introductions. He has also been wonderful with teenagers.

Training & Support
Barry is still learning leash walking, as he finds many things more interesting than polite walking. He is food-motivated and eager to learn, making this a great time to continue building his confidence and skills.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge for transportation will apply.
