About WEBBER*
Meet Webber, a goofy, big-headed sweetheart with a personality that’s impossible not to love! After spending the last few months in foster care, Webber has truly shown what a special companion he can be. He currently lives with other dogs and a cat and does wonderfully with both, settling in easily and coexisting peacefully. He’s even spent time around a young toddler and handled it with patience and gentleness.
Webber is incredibly affectionate and thrives on being close to his people. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, he’s your guy—he’ll happily snuggle up on the couch or in bed and will give you the most heart-melting look if he’s left out. He can get so excited for attention that he wiggles nonstop, making petting him a fun challenge! He truly wants to be someone’s devoted companion and is happiest when he’s by your side. This smart and resourceful boy already knows commands like sit, shake, wait, and is learning “place.” He’s very food motivated, which makes him highly trainable, though it also means he may try a little counter surfing if given the chance. He’s crate-trained (though not a big fan) and mostly house-trained, with occasional nighttime accidents that may be linked to separation anxiety—something he’s actively working through.
Webber enjoys his daily walks and loves getting out to explore the world, even if the distance isn’t long. He can pull on the leash and sometimes be reactive, but he’s improving with consistency and practice. At home, he balances his playful energy with the ability to relax and nap, especially if he’s near his person. He loves toys of all kinds and will happily entertain himself, though he also enjoys interactive play—especially wrestling and a good game of chase once he’s comfortable.
What really makes Webber stand out is his personality. He’s goofy (often unaware of his own size and prone to clumsy, endearing moments), incredibly smart (he learns quickly and even takes cues from other animals), and resourceful (he’s been known to follow the cat around to see if it will open doors for him!). On walks, he frequently checks back in with you as if to make sure you’re doing okay—a small gesture that says so much about his heart.
Ideal Home
Webber’s ideal home is one that can offer him stability, patience, and love. After being surrendered due to his previous owner facing homelessness and experiencing multiple foster homes, he’s still learning that he’s safe and that his forever home is out there. He needs someone committed—someone who will give him the security he craves and deserves.
Ongoing Health
Webber does have allergies that require ongoing care, including special food, daily medication, and routine injections to keep him comfortable and itch-free. With this managed, he’s a happy, thriving dog.
