Meet Pete's Porties. Nathan Pedersen is from Nebraska and breeds Portuguese Water Dogs. We are a family in small town Nebraska. Our dogs, Pearl and Rey are our pets as well as part of the family. They live with us in our home. Both are obedience trained with wonderful personalities. They both have a great pedigree including Reys grandfather, an AKC rally champion! Rey has received the AKC Good Citizen Award and is currently being shown in 4-H by our 11 year old son. Junior, a puppy from our first litter is being shown by our youngest son. Both parents have been genetically tested using the AKC DNA +Health kits and are cleared non carriers from genitc diseases. Results available upon request. We love our dogs and this wonderful breed and want to share it with others while upholding to breed standards. Rey and our Son competed in the Fair in four events. Showmanship, obedience, rally, and agility, winning Top Dog for the entire competition, continuing on to the State Fair and winning championships in two events! Why choose one of our puppies? Also, upon reserving a puppy you will receive regular picture updates of your puppy. So you can see your puppy, grow, play, and be loved on by our family. There are no hidden costs or fees. All puppies come with AKC papers able to be registered with no restrictions. Transportation will be discussed with the buyer on an individual basis.
