Hi there! I'm Dorothy, a sweet and loyal girl who's just looking for a place to call my own. I'm a fully potty and crate-trained adult Black Labrador Retriever mix, and while I'm a good girl at heart, I do have a soft spot for paper and cardboard if it's left within reach. I can get a bit anxious around new people and in unfamiliar environments, and I'm not a fan of cats. However, I can be a great friend to the right canine companions! I know "sit," "paw," and "lay down," and I'm working hard on feeling more comfortable with new faces, dogs, and busy places. When I'm on a leash, I'm a perfect lady – calm, focused, and eager to please. I'm smart, gentle, and full of love, and I'm confident I'd thrive in a quiet, medium-energy home where my human understands I'm trying my best every day. I'm well-behaved, loyal, and ready to give my whole heart to someone who can offer me a safe and loving place to land.
