Meet Ranger Journey!

Ranger is a handsome, approximately 2-month-old puppy weighing around 8.6 lbs. We believe he might be a Pit Bull and Lab mix, but in rescue, we always say it’s our best guess! What we do know is that this precious little guy is incredibly sweet and is searching for his forever family. With his sleek black coat, adorable white markings, and soft puppy features, Ranger is a real heart-melter. His gentle and easygoing personality truly shines, embodying the "play hard, nap harder" puppy lifestyle.

Ranger loves his toys, playing with his siblings, and engaging in puppy wrestling matches. But, unlike some puppies, Ranger understands the importance of a good nap and can go from playtime to deep sleep in a flash – his foster says it takes him about two seconds to fall asleep after playtime! When he’s awake, Ranger is incredibly affectionate and thrives on human interaction. He's a gentle, loving pup who is happiest when receiving attention, cuddles, or simply being near his people.

Ideal Home

Ranger will need a family committed to providing training, socialization, a consistent routine, and plenty of patience as he grows.

Ongoing Health

Ranger has received age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea prevention. He will be spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Like all young puppies, Ranger is still learning about the world. Establishing structure, boundaries, and positive experiences early on will help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately upon arrival home, which aids in potty training, building confidence, and developing healthy habits.

• The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
• A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
