I guess I'll try canned wet food. My mom buys the fresh wet food that comes in a tube and only lasts a week. She had maybe 3 bites of that and that was it. I'm a 7-year-old foster pup whose world was turned upside down when my family lost their housing. They dropped me off at a shelter, and my heart was completely shattered. The shelter was very scary for me, and I tried my hardest to get back to my family, which ended up giving me lots of booboos. The shelter said someone needed to help me or I'd be put down...that made me even more scared. Thankfully, a rescue stepped in to save me and got me to a foster home. Now that I'm all settled in, I'm ready to find my new family, my forever family. I love cheese and love showing you what tricks are up my sleeve to earn some. I can be convinced to sleep in my crate, but I prefer to snuggle up to you. Short walks, long walks, run walks – I just enjoy being by your side. I also love to play with rope toys and to chase after them, but only for a few minutes, then it's back to nap time. I'm very affectionate and loving and super accepting of new people. My foster auntie said she's never experienced such a well-behaved pup! I don't bark at weird sounds or strangers, I'm fully potty trained and let you know when it's time to go, I loose-leash walk, I come when called, and I love with all of my heart. I do get really sad when I'm left alone...the last time my person left my side, I never saw them again, but my foster auntie is helping me work through that. I'd be honored if you gave me a chance. I'm ready to take my shattered heart and start putting the pieces back together, but there's a really big you-shaped piece missing. Could you help me find it?
Ideal Home
I do well with older kids and cats. I dislike sharing your love with other dogs, so let's keep it to just you and me, okay?
