Murdock

Hello there! I'm Murdock, a handsome 6-year-old gentleman looking for my forever home. I'm a good boy who walks well on a leash and keeps my kennel tidy. I even know how to 'sit' for a tasty treat! While I can be a little shy with new people, I promise that with a little patience and love, I blossom into a loyal and wonderful companion. I haven't had much experience in a home environment, so I'd do best as the only dog in the household and I'm not a fan of cats. If you're looking for a dedicated best bud and have a quiet home to offer, I might be the perfect fit for you!

Ideal Home

Murdock would do best in a home where he can be the only dog and is not a fan of cats. He needs a patient and loving family who can help him build his confidence with strangers.

Ongoing Health

Murdock was previously Heartworm Positive but has successfully completed his treatment and is now heartworm negative as of January 2024.

Training & Support

Murdock knows how to 'sit' and is already house-trained, keeping a clean kennel. He is working on building trust with strangers and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and patience.
