If you're looking for a little dog with a big heart, Jay might just be your perfect match.

We believe Jay is a Miniature Pinscher mix, and while we estimate he's around 8 years old, his exact age is a mystery. What isn't a mystery is how much this little guy loves the simple things in life: a cozy bed, his favorite blankie, tasty treats, and all the attention he can get.

Jay came to us as a stray after being left behind and in need of serious medical care. Thankfully, those days are behind him. He's feeling so much better now and is ready to leave his past where it belongs.

This sweet gentleman is incredibly people-friendly and loves soaking up affection. Whether you're sitting on the couch or walking through the room, Jay is always happy to remind you that he's there and would love a few extra pets. He also did well around canine companions and cats, showing more curiosity than concern.

One of our favorite things about Jay? His manners. Offer him a treat, and he'll politely sit and wait to accept it like the little gentleman he is. His treat motivation also makes him a wonderful candidate for continuing to learn new things.

Jay doesn't ask for much. Give him a soft bed, a warm blanket, someone to love, and a family to call his own, and he'll be one happy little dog. After everything he's been through, it's finally Jay's turn to be the one who's chosen.
