Meet Nola, a gorgeous Bluetick Coonhound whose resilience shines through her story. For weeks, Nola wandered the beaches of Bucerias, surviving on the kindness of strangers. As she grew weaker, volunteers tirelessly searched until they found her resting on the sand. She arrived underweight, anemic, and battling Ehrlichia, later diagnosed with TVT, a treatable cancer. After a course of antibiotics, vaccines, and chemotherapy, this courageous girl is now healthy, healed, and ready to find her loving forever home. Nola is a female Bluetick Coonhound born in January 2023. She has been fully vetted and is healthy after her treatments. She's a pro on the leash and truly enjoys her walks. Nola is sweet, resilient, and deeply grateful for affection. Be aware that, as a typical Coonhound, she will bay and howl. Nola survived because people cared, and now she deserves a family who will cherish her for the incredible dog she is.
