Bailey is a gorgeous shepherd mix, around 5 years old and weighing about 60 pounds. She carries herself with such grace and manners that she somehow feels smaller. With her soulful brown eyes, sweet personality, and easygoing nature, she's the kind of dog who wins hearts everywhere she goes. Bailey is a friend to all! She loves other dogs and is incredibly social with wonderful dog manners, happily making friends wherever she goes. While she can thrive as an only dog, she'd be over the moon to have canine siblings to play and adventure with. Bailey also did wonderfully with cats, politely sniffing them and then going about her business. She's the definition of live and let live. Bailey is a smart cookie, already knowing sit, down, shake, and is crate trained. She enjoys enrichment puzzles, learning new things, and being included in whatever her people are doing. If you're an outdoorsy person, Bailey may be your soulmate. She loves walks, swimming, exploring new places, and adventure! But don't worry, she's not all action. Bailey has an incredibly sweet and affectionate side too. She'll do the cutest little plop beside you for attention, lean her whole body into you for pets, offer her paw when she wants more love, and happily roll over for belly rubs. Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy, swimming partner, dog park bestie, or couch companion after a long day, Bailey is ready for the job. Ongoing Health
Bailey is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Bailey already knows sit, down, shake, and is crate trained. She enjoys enrichment puzzles, learning new things, and being included in whatever her people are doing.

Transportation
Bailey is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
