Sweet Boone is a 2-year-old, neutered Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who weighs approximately 18 pounds. He has the kindest face and the softest, most soulful eyes. Boone came to us after being rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, where he had very little human interaction. Despite everything he's been through, Boone has remained incredibly gentle, sweet, and eager to experience the love he has always deserved. Like many dogs from neglect situations, Boone is still learning that the world can be a safe place. He's making steady progress every day but will thrive with a patient family who understands that trust is earned through kindness, consistency, and time. Every new experience is another opportunity for Boone to build confidence, and watching him come out of his shell is incredibly rewarding.

Transporation
Boone is currently located in Austin, Texas. Transport can be arranged by our rescue once matched with an approved adopter. Transport runs every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved.
