Hello, my name is S'mores! I am as sweet and squishy as my name implies! I am a classic bully breed pup and quite the looker with my athletic build and unique coloring (graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow anyone?). I am approximately 9-10 months old and joined our rescue as a stray. I have settled quickly into a comfortable life of soft fleece blankets, lots of scratches and pets, walks, toys, and naps in my foster home. I am a sensitive boy who loves and wants to meet all the people! I am respectful of the cranky 13-year-old resident dog, and would do best in a home with older children. I am gentle with my toys, enjoy a romping game of fetch, and love to be told that I am a "good boy." I have been diligently working on my training and I am very treat motivated! I know "sit," and am learning "down" and "wait" as well as taking treats gently and loose leash walking. I am learning that "four on the floor" is much more rewarding than jumping up to say hi. I am also learning about impulse control and would do best in a home with a strong leader who understands that I benefit from consistent structure and training. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and will let you know when I need to go potty outside. I like to be near my people during the day and will sleep next to you while you work (if you can drown out my snoring ). I would make a wonderful companion for many different households. Like to go for walks and hikes? I'm into that! Like to lounge on the couch, with me on the floor near you? I'm into that! Like to hang out with friends? I'm into that too! As long as you're there, I'm into whatever you want to do (except riding a lot in the car, I'm not so into that). I am very ready to find my forever home.
Ideal Home
The perfect family for me is one that will continue my training (I have SO much potential!), is patient, and will love me a lot. I would do best in a home with older children. I am not so into riding in the car a lot.
