Meet Plum Precious! This sweet 6-year-old, 15 lb Bichon Frise is a gentle soul with a heart full of love to give. Plum Precious comes from a puppy mill, which means she can be a little apprehensive at first, but with a little patience and a lot of love, she blossoms into a delightful companion who loves to frolic in the yard. She's already shown she can do well with loud children and her foster sister, Miss Scarlett. Plum is a big fan of food, especially cheese, and can be motivated with a tasty treat. She's still learning the ropes of being a pampered pup and is getting the hang of things like leashes and toys, but she's a natural when it comes to snuggling up with a blankie or towel. Plum is content to observe life from the sidelines but will let you know with a gentle bark if she feels a little left out and needs some affection. She's a precious, curious little thing who is sure to bring joy and endless cuddles to her forever home.
Ideal Home
Plum Precious would love a home where she can continue to gain confidence and explore at her own pace. She has shown she does well with children and other dogs, but a quiet admirer who understands her past and is willing to give her time to adjust would be ideal.

Plum Precious is spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and dewormed. She has been treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
Training & Support
Plum is still learning about "dog things" like leashes and toys, but she's a pro at using puppy pads. She enjoys observing and doesn't need to be the center of attention but will bark for affection if she feels ignored. Patience, positive reinforcement, and a consistent routine will help Plum thrive.
