Charlie - Urgent Foster or Adopter

Charlie is a 3-year-old, approximately 60-pound girl who was born into rescue and raised with love. She found her forever home at a young age and lived happily for nearly three years. Sadly, due to circumstances beyond her control, Charlie is now in need of a new home where she can thrive. She is not a bad dog and has done nothing wrong; she is simply a victim of sibling syndrome with her littermate, and her current family has made the difficult decision that a new environment would be best for her. Charlie is housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is wonderful with people, including children, though she can be a bit shy when first meeting new people. Once she's comfortable, she's incredibly loving and enjoys toys, bones, and all the simple comforts of home.

Ideal Home

Charlie would be happiest as your one-and-only pet. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet would be required to determine compatibility.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has food allergies that are managed with a special diet and Apoquel. Otherwise, she is healthy.

Training & Support

Charlie is housebroken and crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. She may be shy when first meeting new people, so patience and understanding will help her settle in.
