Miles Lakers is a four-month-old, approximately 23-pound bundle of playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly energy. We believe he's a Pit Bull / Staffordshire Terrier mix, but like all rescues, that's a happy guess! Miles is one of the most desperate pups needing a home, coming from an area with high euthanasia rates for puppies. Miles will thrive in a home that can provide consistent training, socialization, and the dedication that puppyhood requires. A family that can establish routine, structure, and clear boundaries will help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog.
Ongoing Health
Miles has received age-appropriate vaccinations, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has also undergone multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and has received a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary. A health certificate deeming him healthy for travel is included.
Training & Support
Miles will need a family committed to crate training from day one to help with potty training, energy management, and overall development. We also provide extensive behavioral testing and information from our on-staff trainers to ensure a great match.

Transporation
Miles is currently in Texas and can be transported nationwide. Transport drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track his journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
