Josie

Meet Josie! This five-month-old hound mix puppy is a bundle of joy and adventure, rescued alongside her mom, Daisy. Josie is a happy, energetic girl who's always ready to play and shower you with affection. She loves people and other dogs, and her tail is almost always wagging! She's friendly, funny, outgoing, and super sweet, with no mean bones in her body. Josie is already housetrained and enjoys car rides, making her a perfect companion for hikes or runs. We expect her to reach about 40 pounds of gorgeous love.

Ideal Home

Josie would thrive in a home that can keep up with her energetic spirit. She loves children but may be a bit too enthusiastic for very small toddlers. A fenced yard is a must to let her safely burn off some energy with zoomies.

Ongoing Health

Josie is a healthy puppy and has no known health concerns at this time.

Training & Support

Josie is still learning about personal space due to her puppy exuberance, but she's a quick learner! Her outgoing nature and love for play will make training a fun experience.

Transportation

Josie is located at Charles Smithgall Humane Society. Adopters must come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship or transport animals.
