Riggs

Riggs is a sweet, gentle, and shy nine-month-old Anatolian Shepherd. He came to us from a hoarding situation where there were simply too many dogs for him to get the socialization he needed. Riggs is a natural introvert who prefers a calm approach and time to observe before he engages. He does well with other dogs and cats, and he will do best in a home with a confident canine companion to help him feel more secure.

Ideal Home

Riggs needs a home with a fenced yard for safety and because he is not a fan of loud noises or commotion. He would do best with children over 10 who can be calm and respectful, as he is not suited for a home with loud, boisterous children.

Riggs is shy and will benefit from a structured, kind, and patient approach. He is not a fan of loud noises, so owners should be mindful of events like the Fourth of July.
