Meet Alba, a beautiful girl whose name literally means "Dawn," signifying a new beginning. She was found on the streets of Houston, Texas, where she was sadly overlooked by many. Thankfully, Alba is not pregnant and is now safe with her foster mom, where she's living harmoniously with two dogs and six cats!

Ideal Home

Alba would thrive in a home where she can receive the love and commitment she deserves. Due to her separation anxiety, a home where she won't be left alone for extended periods, or where she can be safely and heavily crated, is ideal. Without proper management, she might express her anxiety by damaging home furnishings.

Ongoing Health

Alba tested positive for heartworm but has successfully completed treatment using the slow-kill method.

Training & Support

Alba experiences separation anxiety. To help her feel secure when you're away, a heavy-duty crate is recommended. With patience and understanding, she will reward you with unconditional love.
