Piper - WI

Piper is a sweet 5-year-old Maltese/Bichon Frise mix who found herself needing a new home when her beloved human moved into hospice care. She was queen of her castle and the only family she'd ever known. Piper is a petite lady, weighing in around 12 pounds. She's generally indifferent to cats and other dogs, but she does seem to enjoy the company of smaller male dogs when given the option.

Ideal Home

Piper would thrive in an adult-only home where she can continue to be the center of attention. She's not a fan of children, so a home without them is a must. She loves being outdoors, enjoys long walks on a leash, and can often be found soaking up the sun on the porch. While Piper isn't a big cuddler and doesn't really do laps, she will sleep with her humans once she feels comfortable and has built trust.

Ongoing Health

Piper is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and is microchipped. She recently had a dental cleaning and is spayed.

Training & Support

Piper was used to ruling the roost, so she'll do best in a home that can provide clear guidance and a consistent routine.
