About Opal

Meet Opal, a sweet and affectionate mama dog who has done an amazing job raising her puppies. She's a gentle and attentive mother, and once her puppies are weaned, she'll be ready to find a forever home of her own. Opal is kid-approved and loves people, especially children. She's treat-motivated and has already learned commands like "sit" and "down." Her foster describes her as having a calm, easygoing temperament and she's very quiet, even so quiet that her foster has never heard her bark! Opal keeps her living space neat and tidy, enjoys soft bedding, and truly lights up when she receives attention. She gets excited and wags her tail when she sees her foster's dog, suggesting she would likely enjoy having canine friends. Opal is still young at heart and loves to play, showing a perfect combination of playful energy and sweet companionship. This medium-sized beauty is mostly white with a few brown spots and has an enormous heart. She is happiest when she's close to her people. Opal has spent months caring for her babies, and soon it will be her turn to be spoiled, cherished, and loved by a family of her very own. Opal was born on 3/6/2025.
