Skylar

Meet Skylar, a sweet and gentle 6-year-old reddish terrier mix with a heart full of love! She weighs about 65 pounds and is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Skylar came to us with another dog and truly thrives in canine companionship. While she's a bit scared in the shelter environment due to past neglect, she'll blossom into a calm and affectionate friend with a patient, loving family. She walks beautifully on a leash and is a polite girl when offered treats.

Ideal Home

Skylar would love a home where she can feel safe and loved. A home with another dog would be wonderful for her, as she finds comfort in their company.

Ongoing Health

Skylar is currently heartworm positive. The good news is that Wags will cover the cost of her treatment, and our vet is confident she will make a full recovery and live a long, healthy life. She's also on a special diet to help her get back into shape.

Training & Support

Skylar is working on her weight and needs continued support with a healthy diet. She walks well on a leash and sits politely for treats, showing a good foundation for further training.
