About Bear

Bear is a sweet and handsome boy who was surrendered to the shelter due to his owner's health. He is about 4.5 years old, weighs over 100 pounds, and was clearly well-loved. Bear knows several commands, including sit, come, heel, and stay. He walks well on a leash, absolutely loves playing ball, and is a friendly, great family dog. Bear does best with female dogs but is also happy to be the only dog in a home.

Ideal Home

Bear is a great family dog and thrives in a loving home. He gets along well with female dogs and would also be content as the sole canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He will have a health exam and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bear knows several commands and walks well on a leash. He loves to play ball and is described as a good listener, though he does have his own mind sometimes!
