Meet Beau, a brave, sweet, and intelligent Rough Collie who is learning to feel safe and confident. He is loyal, loving, eager to please, and increasingly relaxed in a stable, caring environment.

Ideal Home

Beau will do best with a patient, understanding family who can continue building his confidence. He gets along well with dogs, cats, ducks, and turkeys. He enjoys being outside but currently feels most comfortable indoors. Garage doors can still frighten him, and he may retreat to a safe hiding place when he hears them.

• Knows sit, down, and shake
• Goes into his crate, sits, and waits when his food dish is picked up
• Adjusts quickly to lawnmowers, tractors, and wood splitters when supported by a trusted person
