Meet Red, our longest resident and a true ray of sunshine! This 4-year-old pittie mix is an energetic, affectionate boy with a zest for life that will constantly put a smile on your face. Red came to us with 15 other dogs from a rural Florida shelter that was devastated by hurricanes Helene and Milton. After 1.5 years, he's still patiently waiting for his forever home! He's been wonderful in our care, enjoying playtime in the yard, zoomies with staff, and all the snuggles from volunteers and his favorite people. Red is fully housetrained and a beloved participant in our doggy day outs and fostering programs. He's a ladies' man when it comes to other dogs and people, preferring the company of females, but with slow and proper introductions, he can become friends with all. His adoption fee has been WAIVED to help him finally find his perfect match. Red is an easygoing, lovable goofball ready to shower his family with a lifetime of love. We promised Red the rest of his life would be the best of his life – could that be with you?
