Hippo

Hippo is a delightful girl who is ready to find her forever home! Despite a rough start, Hippo is a happy and loving companion who cherishes her people above all else. She's a smart cookie who enjoys training and is motivated by both treats and toys. While she's still mastering the "drop it" command, the dedicated staff are happy to share their training tips with you to ensure her continued success. Hippo is also a fan of durable toys that can withstand her enthusiastic play.

When Hippo first arrived, she had difficulty walking, but with a lot of love and perseverance, she's made an incredible recovery and is now running, jumping, and enjoying life to the fullest!

Ideal Home

Hippo would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.

Ongoing Health

Hippo had some medical challenges but has made a fantastic recovery and is now almost 100% back on her feet.

Training & Support

Hippo is learning to "drop it" and is toy and food motivated. The staff can provide guidance on her training progress and how to continue her success.
