Dottie

Meet Dottie! This beautiful 4-year-old, 62-pound lady is a bundle of joy and loyalty, ready to fill your home with laughter and love. Dottie's foster mom describes her as a big cuddle bug with a goofy personality and a wagging tail that never stops. She's incredibly intelligent, food-motivated, and picks up on training in a flash, making her an eager-to-please companion. When she's not showering you with affection, she loves to play with her favorite rope toys and stuffies. Dottie's foster mom can't say enough about her – she's a loyal friend who just wants to be by your side!

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can enjoy at least one good walk or play session a day. She enjoys running and playing but is also the biggest cuddle bug! She does best with one or two calm, big dogs, or would equally enjoy being the only pet in the home to soak up all the attention. Dottie would do best in a home without young males or boys, as she has had some negative experiences with them. She is great with adult men and women, and would do well in an all-female home.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained! While she can be left to free roam and does well, she does whine initially before settling down without any destruction. She pulls on leash and will bark when she sees other dogs, but walks calmly otherwise.

Dottie is currently in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
