Raven is a sweet, rambunctious, and blind Doodle girl, weighing in at 34 lbs. She's a fluffy goofball who will re-energize your life with her blind enthusiasm and playful spirit! Raven loves interactive noisy toys, playing hide and seek, and using puzzle feeders to keep her busy. She's a master napper in her crate, which she enjoys with a cover for her safe space. She's already fully potty trained and crate trained, and with her food motivation and quick learning, she'll easily master new routines. Raven can sit, and with consistency, she's confident she can learn many more tricks! She doesn't bark much, unless she's playing or trying to communicate.
Ideal Home
Raven will need a family that can accommodate her energy and playful nature. She loves to play rough, so another dog in the home would need to be able to tolerate that and ideally be a confident playmate who can establish boundaries with her. She does best with children at least 10-12 years or older. She doesn't like super loud noises like helicopters or loud motorcycles.
Ongoing Health
Raven is blind due to a congenital condition. She has seen a neurologist and received a good bill of health otherwise. Her forever family will need to be cautious of stairs, access to and around pools, and keeping her off tall furniture to ensure her safety.
Training & Support
Raven is leash trained but finds walks difficult as she dislikes the unknown and tends to twirl. She'll need basic puppy lessons and help with leash training in a new environment. It's helpful to talk to her often and give her verbal cues to let her know when you're about to pet her or put her leash on. Ensure her energy is burned out for the day, or she may get a little fussy.
