Samuel *Arriving 7/11* D11643

Samuel is a gorgeous, happy-go-lucky boy who's looking for his next adventure. He's friendly, affectionate, and loves being with his people. Sam gets along great with other dogs, though he's a little more timid around larger bully breeds. He's a rock star player, whether it's tug-of-war, chasing other pups around the yard, or showing off his goofy wrestling moves, he knows how to have fun. Sam is also a big fan of toys, especially chew toys. To round it all out, he enjoys car rides, and is leash and crate trained! Total package <3 One of his favorite pastimes is quietly sitting and watching squirrels-he could happily spend hours keeping an eye on them. Sam would do well with just about any household, whether you are active and outdoorsy, or more of a couch potato, he will fit well everywhere. Samuel's journey hasn't been easy. He was found in Texas suffering from mange, covered in ticks and fleas, and severely underweight. With lots of care, he's well on his way back to health and is ready to find the loving home he's always deserved.

Samuel is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 7/11/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
