Forever home found

I'm Zoie, a 13-year-old, 20-pound lady who needs a new loving household. My previous person had to move without me, so now I'm looking for a place to call my own again! I'm currently being fostered in Lawrence, KS.

I am blind and deaf, but I'm otherwise healthy and quite adaptable. Navigating new places can be a bit tricky at first, but I've learned to explore new environments with enthusiasm! I don't mind being picked up and moved to my favorite cozy spots, and I can even handle stairs slowly. I'm a sweet, quiet old lady who loves to explore new smells and situations. Cuddling under blankets on the couch near my people is my favorite way to spend my time. I get along well with my foster dog friends, though I'm not up for roughhousing anymore. I also love my outside time where I can explore and I get along with all people! I would prefer not to go out in the rain without a buddy to guide me. I need a loving household that will let me work at my own slow pace. I am housetrained and do great on a leash, taking my time to enjoy all the sights and smells. I also ride well in the car.

Ideal Home

I would prefer a home with a yard or frequent outdoor time. I am good with gentle children who will offer soft touches.

I am blind and deaf, but otherwise healthy.

Training & Support

I am housetrained and do great on a leash, though I take my time. I love to meander and smell the flowers.
