Lucy

Lucy is a 7-year-old female Chihuahua mix who is a bit shy but incredibly sweet. She was rescued from an Amish mill and is still adjusting to life outside that environment. While she gets a little nervous if you try to pick her up, she's not mean at all. Lucy loves to follow her favorite people around, wagging her tail, and enjoys gentle conversation. She's figured out the doggy door and loves the freedom to go in and out as she pleases.

Ideal Home

Lucy would do best in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. She has had some negative interactions with children under 8, so a home without them is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is spayed, up-to-date on all her shots, and has tested negative for heartworm and 4DX.

Training & Support

Lucy is still learning to trust and be comfortable with new experiences. Patience and gentle encouragement will go a long way in helping her thrive.
