About Blair (Billie)

Meet Blair, also lovingly known as Billie! This bold, curious, and sweet puppy is 16 weeks old and a Lab/Pit mix who is already convinced everyone is her friend. She's being fostered in Austin, Texas, and is expected to grow into a large dog. Billie has a big personality and a zest for adventure, climbing and jumping with enthusiasm like a tiny billy goat! She loves to play, "talk" to her people, and is happiest by your side as a loyal sidekick. She's fantastic with other dogs and currently lives with a seven-year-old Golden Retriever who she adores playing with. While she hasn't been around cats or children yet, she would likely do well with respectful kids who understand puppy energy and boundaries. Billie is incredibly smart, already coming when called and sitting for treats. She's about 80% potty trained, lets you know when she needs to go, and is comfortable in a crate for short periods. She's also doing well on leash and gaining confidence daily. Billie is the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing, smiling, and feeling loved every day, and she's ready to make your life a whole lot more fun!

Ideal Home

Billie will do best in a home where someone is around more often than not to guide her, engage her, and help channel her big personality into becoming a well-rounded adult dog. She needs a family ready to embrace her bold, adventurous spirit and keep up with all the fun she brings.

Ongoing Health

Blair and her siblings recovered from a skin condition that caused some hair loss, but they have fully recovered and are now in the healing phase while their coats grow back in.

Training & Support

Billie is incredibly smart and already ahead of the curve for her age. She comes when called, sits on command, and has a soft mouth when taking food. She is about 80% potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go. She is comfortable in a crate for short periods and is doing well on leash. Like any puppy, she'll still need continued structure, guidance, and consistency as she grows.
