Merle has a history of enjoying the company of children and has been great with kids as young as 5, making him a potential candidate for a family. He enjoys puzzle toys and licky mats but is happiest simply being by your side.
Ideal Home
Merle would thrive in a semi-active home where he can be included in daily activities, whether it's running errands or just relaxing together. He would do best in a home with a large fenced yard rather than an apartment, giving him space to stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors. While he can be successfully around the right dogs, Merle's happiest and most relaxed self truly shines when he doesn't have to share his space full-time. He would likely do best as the only dog in the home, as people are his top priority.
